Just had a friend do his 290 Baja over the winter and rear stringers were shot. The guy that fixed the problem said the stringers were like mulch. Also the area behind the swim platform was holding a large amount of water due to poor design. He had to drill holes in the rear of the boat and seal it to allow the water to get out.Location: BC. For stock black production engines their gear oil does well. Their impellers some are the exact made as Merc but some are not. Sierra has so many impellers for a lot of models and makes.
