The InvestArms Gemmer Hawken kit features all steel/iron hardware like the original Hawken rifles and importantly, the InvestArms kits leave some extra wood on the kit allowing for historically accurate modification.

In addition to shooting well, the Gemmer Hawken looked and felt good. The component quality was not quite on the same level as the Bridger Hawken, however, it is still excellent for the price.
