I have netherite and was wondering if that's a good material to go for, or is there other materials that are fairly …I have the same issue, for some reason, in ATM8 and in ATM7 the compatibility between those two mods is broken, but in ATM6 it seems to work,. Maybe it's version, I'll check right now on 1.17 and then on 1.18. Neptunium gear from fishing gives you permanent water breathing (chest) & night vision under water (helm) + better swimming and maneuvering in water. The armor on the gear isn't great but it's easier to get early than something like an apotheosis water breathing charm or allthemodium gear. There is very little benefit to using silent gear, especially on a pickaxe. You can get max speed on an ATM pickaxe w/ enchants and apotheosis, easily enough. Going through any extra hassle isn't worth it, imo. You can get ATM in less than half an hour from starting, if you really wanted to. Even on other gear, it's not really worth it.
