There is not that much difference in the performance, but the difference is that xci, is a physical release, but nsp is a digital release, witch basically means, if you got a digital only game, there is no xci version. and a friendly tip for nsz, use SAK to decompress/convert to nsp. nsz is a specially compressed nsp file.
