The KSG feeds mini-shells with no added parts so, based on the video, I believe that the KS7 should function well with mini-shells. That’s when you have to shuck it hard, because cheap ammo with cheap plastic starts to stick. It would do it with any shotgun, if they could hold 15 2 3/4 rounds before needing to reload.

My experience with shotguns are hunting and shooting skeet Remington 870 WM and 11/87. I have owned both for over 20 years. I rarely even clean them.

Shells are cleverly held in a pair of tubular magazines that run from the receiver - the top of which doubles as the comb of the stock - to the muzzle. Technically, any shotgun that can hold 10 standard length shells can also hold 15 or so minishells. There is caselaw on this, but I do not have time to look for it. Also, with the KSG, you have to manually switch the tubes when one tube runs out of shells, unlike other designs that keep feeding regardless (UTAS-15).
